This charming walk among lavender and broom in summer, and the colourful foliage in autumn starts from the Ponte Maira car park, passes through the village and over the bridge to the provincial road. You then come to a mule track that, after the wooden bridge, leads to Lausetto (1527 m). Turn left onto the tarmac road for a short distance until you pass the church of San Maurizio (1,550 m). It then continues to Chiappera on the Occitan Paths. After passing the church of Chiappera (1601 m), take the provincial road towards the valley exit as far as the cemetery, which leads to the signpost for the Maira springs (1617 m). Afterwards, continue on the tarmac road towards Saretto for about a hundred metres and before the bend turn onto the path that branches off to the right into the woods to return to Ponte Maira.
