The ascent of Mount Chersogno is possible from various points, the Colle della Bicocca rather than Campiglione (Prazzo).

In this case, the departure is from Grange Chiosso Superiore in Elva. A little-known itinerary, but one of great beauty. This itinerary is very demanding and requires a good level of physical preparation, as it involves very steep climbs from the outset. Leaving the village, keep left at the fork and head towards Grange Costabella and Gias Vecchio. The route continues on a steep slope until it reaches the crossroads between the paths coming from Bivacco Bonfante and Borgata di Chiosso. From here, take the track on the scree slope that soon leads to the Chersogno pass. From this point, it takes about twenty minutes to reach the summit by following the panoramic ridge. The return trip is the same as the way out.
