“Dragon bike” loop
Between the cities of Dronero and San Damiano Macra, in the lateral valleys to the hydrographic right of the lower Val Maira, the route crosses coniferous and beech forests, ancient villages, refurbished votive chapels from 1700-1800 and partisan paths.
The ring starts from the equipped area-sports field in the hamlet of Tetti di Dronero and proceeds towards the valley. At 5 km from the start, you will meet the dirt road in a forest track, which at 7.9 km gives way to a large clearing. Afterwards, dirt tracks alternate with stretches of asphalt. The route features four climbs of varying lengths and single-trail sections that require skill to drive the vehicle.
