Torrente maira loop
Discover suggestive and little-known corners along the Maira stream with an easy hike in the lower valley!
It starts from Paschero di Cartignano in the direction of the Berardi Castle up to the dirt road, then continuing through the meadows towards the Maira stream. Go up the stream with a single trail in the woods to the asphalted road that leads to San Damiano Macra. Resuming a grassy path that leads to the entrance to the valley of the Foresti, you reach the villages of Comba, Comeano Sottano and Serri foresti on asphalt, where you can take the dirt road back into the woods. After passing other hamlets, follow a stretch of the Caprioli path to the small church of San Bernardo, where through the asphalted road, after getting off and up, you cross a stone bridge and arrive at the center of Paschero di Cartignano.
