Museum l’escolo de mountanho
What was it like to go to school in the mountains in the early 1900s? Studying without computers, tablets and whiteboards?
Discover it by visiting this unique museum and amaze those who are now in school!
The ethnographic museum “L’Escolo de Mountanho” tells the story of the mountain school from 1900 to 1970. The exhibition recreates the environment of a classroom, with desks, desk, blackboard, registers and report cards, all original items from the early 20th century. The history of the school is told through the objects used by teachers and students and through the images of a rich corpus of photographs documenting moments of life in the past.
