Group trekking on the Percorsi Occitani from San Damiano Macra to Prazzo, including via ferratas, geological sites, ancient villages, and culture, to discover the beauty of an authentic territory.

TRIP DETAILS:

5 days – 4 nights

DAY 1

Arrival in Dronero, Valle Maira. Visit to the Sanctuary of San Costanzo al Monte, the Abbey of San Pietro in Vincoli, and the Ciciu del Villar nature reserve in Villar San Costanzo. Transfer by private car to San Damiano Macra for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2

Breakfast and excursion from San Damiano Macra to Macra on the Percorsi Occitani. In the afternoon, climbing on the Camoglieres via ferrata (equipment provided). Dinner and overnight stay in Macra.

DAY 3

Breakfast and excursion along the path leading to the panoramic mountain pastures above the hamlets of Langra and Caricatori. Then, walk from Macra to Stroppo on the Percorsi Occitani. Dinner and overnight stay in Stroppo.

DAY 4

Breakfast and excursion on the Percorsi Occitani from Stroppo to Elva. Visit to the Hair Museum and the Parish Church of Santa Maria Assunta. Dinner and overnight stay in Elva.

DAY 5

Breakfast and excursion from Elva to Monte Chersogno (3,000 m a.s.l.), one of the most fascinating and easiest peaks to reach in Valle Maira. Descent to Prazzo, aperitif in Prazzo, transport to the first accommodation in San Damiano Macra to collect cars. Return journey by private car.

Groups of 6 to 9 people from €450 per person
Groups of 10 to 13 people from €425 per person
Groups of 14 to 17 people from €400 per person

THE PRICE INCLUDES
Accommodation: triple/quadruple rooms and/or hikers’ hostels for 4 nights as per the program (linen not provided).
Transfers: Private transport on day 5 from Campiglione di Prazzo to San Damiano Macra.
Meals: 4 dinners, 4 packed lunches, 4 breakfasts.
Rentals: Via ferrata equipment kit for day 2
Visits: entrance fees to Ciciu del Villar, San Costanzo al Monte, San Pietro in Vincoli, Hair Museum. Guide accompaniment on day 1 (half day).
On-site reception: welcome briefing at the tourist office, delivery of specific travel materials, explanation of the itinerary, on-site assistance throughout the duration of the tour.
