Tour de Chambeyron

11/07/25 – NOTICE: Due to adverse weather conditions that have affected the area causing landslides and erosion, the trail is currently not passable or otherwise dangerous in the section between Roburent Pass (Colle di Roburent) and Escalon Pass (Passo dell’Escalon).
A huge loop in five stages between Italy and France with high mountain views around the Brec de Chambeyron, the highest peak of the Maira Valley.
It can be tackled either clockwise or counterclockwise, starting from the Maira Valley (Rifugio Campo Base, Chialvetta) or from the Ubaye Valley (Maljasset, Larche).
Imposing Dolomite peaks, evocative high-altitude lakes, panoramic passes, and rugged scree slopes make it an unforgettable tour.
