Sentiero di Naslù (Path of Naslù)
Path controlled by Naslù and Gundu, the two guardians carved in wood.
This path develops under the watchful eye of the two guardians: Naslù and Gundu, carved in wood at the beginning of the path. This itinerary hides beautiful wood carvings, which can be found as you proceed.
Starting from the hamlet of Chiesa, initially you enter a magical forest of majestic beech trees while, in the highest area, near the hamlet of Castellaro and beyond, white and red fir trees take up space, and then open up to sweeping views over the Maira Valley.
After having crossed the Chiotto hamlet on the way back, at the end of the itinerary you can visit the interesting Museum of the Anchovies which tells the typical craft of the Maira Valley of anchovy sellers and the Polyptych by Hans Clemer, a Flemish painter in business at the end of 1400 which gave the Maira Valley some real jewels.
