2026 Elva Summer Program – “La Deseno” Pro Loco

Summer in Elva comes to life with a rich calendar of events organized by the “La Deseno” Pro Loco, featuring tradition, music, and conviviality.

The season begins on Sunday, May 17, with the Feast of San Pancrazio: Holy Mass at 11:15 AM, followed by lunch in the square at 12:30 PM organized by the Pro Loco and accompanied by folk songs throughout the day.

On Sunday, June 21, in the hamlet of Chanto Elvo, celebrations include Mass at the Colle San Giovanni chapel at 11:15 AM with an aperitif, followed by lunch in the square and folk songs. The afternoon is dedicated to local traditions with the “daj” (grass mowing) competition at 3:00 PM and the “trouplou” (log cutting) competition at 5:00 PM.

Sunday, July 12, is a day dedicated to craftsmanship and fun: markets starting from 10:00 AM, lunch in the square at 12:30 PM, a concert by “Madame” at 3:00 PM, followed by traditional games such as tug-of-war and sack races.

During the summer, guided tours of the Parish Church of Santa Maria Assunta will also be organized from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on the following dates: May 2, June 6, July 4, August 1, and September 5.
