The exhibition will be open to the public free of charge and without reservation during the centre’s opening hours: Wednesday and Saturday 9am-12.30pm, Thursday and Friday 9am-12.30pm and 3pm-6pm.

A small exhibition of nativity scenes created by Mario Collino, aka Prezzemolo, will be hosted from 11 to 20 December and from 7 to 10 January at Espaci Occitan.

Awarded the 2017 Testimone della cultura popolare (Witness to Popular Culture) prize, Prezzemolo, from Cuneo, has always cultivated his inner child, fascinating young and old alike with his imagination and great technical skill. Since 1989, he has been collecting sayings, proverbs, stories, songs and tales and creating toys from times gone by using recycled materials. His nativity scenes make use of old windows, revive the medieval art of paperoles, and give new life to pieces of string and metal, adding to the enchantment of the Nativity scene with the artist’s manual skills and inventiveness.

The initiative is promoted by the Espaci Occitan Association with the contribution of the Piedmont Region.
