Oronaye Via Ferrata

The Oronaye Via Ferrata experience starts from the Viviere area with a long approach that winds through pastures and bivouacs, passing through the Valmaggia Bivouac before reaching the base of the via ferrata at an altitude of 2,650 m, near the Enrico Mario Shelter (Bivouac).
From here begins the equipped route built by the Alpini in the 1930s for military purposes—a steep and scenic path that climbs up to the second emergency shelter at the base of the final section of the via ferrata, featuring the adrenaline-pumping metal ladder that leads to Cima Dronero at 3,050 m.
