San Giacu Festival 2025

The traditional San Giacu Festival returns to Prazzo Superiore with a weekend dedicated to conviviality, music, and the traditions of the Maira Valley.

Saturday, July 25

The festival opens at 7:30 PM in Piazza Municipio with a delicious polenta and sausage dinner. From 9:00 PM, the evening continues with live music by the Yo Yo Band. During the event, markets will also be held in the characteristic historic square of Prazzo Superiore, around the octagonal stone fountain.

Sunday, July 26

The day begins with Holy Mass at the Chapel of San Giacomo. At 5:00 PM, a rich snack is scheduled at Furnel e Pirol (drinks excluded), accompanied by live music from the Sonadors. On the occasion of the patronal feast, Furnel e Pirol will offer a snack and concert to all participants.
