A meeting dedicated to the promotion of mountain rye, a traditional crop of the Alpine territory and the focus of an innovative participatory certification process promoted by the Prometheus project.
Starting at 6:00 PM, experts from the agricultural and cereal sectors will explore the role of rye and traditional grains in protecting biodiversity, the sustainability of local production, and the development prospects of mountain supply chains.
Speakers:
- Alberto Senaldi, expert in rye and traditional grains, representative of Slow Food and the Slow Grains and Corn network.
- Carlo Pedretti, national coordinator of AIAMS Lombardia.
At the end of the meeting, there will be a tasting with an inaugural toast.
For interested participants, at 5:00 PM it will also be possible to attend a discussion session dedicated to rye processing with Stefano Bernardi from BBLab.
The event is part of the Falciamo 2026 – Speciale Segale program, an opportunity to learn more about one of the symbolic crops of the Piedmontese mountains and its cultural, agricultural, and gastronomic value.
