Cineforum for children, families, and adults Saturday, June 27 in Celle di Macra with the film “AUTUMN AND THE BLACK JAGUAR”

Saturday, June 27 at 9:00 PM, the second appointment with the Cineforum for children, families, and adults takes place in Celle di Macra with the screening of the film “AUTUMN AND THE BLACK JAGUAR” in the Cultural Lab hall in Borgata Chiesa.

Autumn is a teenager who grew up in the Amazon with her parents, who are passionate environmentalists.

Growing up in the Amazon rainforest gave Autumn the rarest of friendships: a jaguar cub named Hope.

When Autumn is six years old, following the tragic death of her mother, she is forced to leave the idyllic place where she lives and Hope, to move to chaotic New York with her father Saul; her only wish is to return to the rainforest and her cub.

After spending several years in the Big Apple and getting used to city life, Autumn discovers that her childhood village is threatened by animal traffickers and decides she must return to the Amazon to her beloved jaguar, which now risks being captured by poachers as a rare species.

The young girl does not hesitate for a minute and decides to set off to return to the Amazon jungle and save her best friend.

She is followed by her Biology teacher, who has many fears and wants to bring her back.

She thus embarks on a journey to reunite with Hope and save her from those seeking to destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.

The event is organized by the Municipalities of Celle di Macra and Macra, in collaboration with the Ecomuseum of the Upper Maira Valley and the Pro Loco Seles.
