At Prato Ciorliero,
in the Vallone di Unerzio, to meet Irma Borgogno, who manages the mountain pasture together with her husband and grandson.
She too has successfully combined traditional farming practices with the production of cheeses, yogurt, and desserts.

Program:

• Route: from Viviere to Prato Ciorliero, Colle dello Escalon, and the Escalon barracks
• Meeting point: 8:30 AM at Cartignano – Bottega del Buon Cammino
• Distance: 9 km
• Elevation gain: 630 m

For both excursions, a packed lunch is planned, followed by a tasting of local products from the two farms, available for direct purchase at the mountain huts (malghe).
