TUESDAY AUGUST 4 AND WEDNESDAY AUGUST 5, 2026 CREATIVE MANUAL WORKSHOP “THE CUSHION …..PATCHWORK” in Prazzo Superiore

The CHALIAR Association of Prazzo, in collaboration with Pro Loco Prazzo, the Municipality of Prazzo and the Ecomuseum of the Upper Maira Valley, is offering a practical workshop on Tuesday August 4 and Wednesday August 5, 2026.

The workshop, titled “The cushion …patchwork” will be a moment of creative manual work in which participants will use different pieces of fabric to create a personalized cushion furnishing accessory that tells its own story.

More than a simple workshop, these sessions will be a sharing experience in which fragments of different fabrics come together to create something totally new, unique and personal.

Guided step by step, you will learn to select the right color combinations, to cut fabrics geometrically and to assemble them with precision to create a cushion with an exclusive design.

During the workshop you will explore the fundamental techniques of creative sewing, focusing on balancing visual weights and precision of stitching to achieve an impeccable final result.

It will not just be about joining pieces of fabric, but about learning a geometric method and a sense of color that can then be applied to any other home decor project.

The workshop will be led by sewing expert Gian Piera Gallusi.

The appointment is from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Puet area in PRAZZO SUPERIORE.

Participation in the event is free.
