Coincidenze 2026 – Where Stories Intersect
From August 28 to 30, 2026, the Piazzale Ex Stazione di Dronero hosts Coincidenze 2026, a cultural festival that weaves together music, literature, performance, and workshops in a symbolic place of encounters and connections.
Inspired by the railway concept of “coincidence,” the festival celebrates those moments when different paths intersect, giving rise to new experiences, ideas, and relationships. A weekend designed to engage audiences of all ages through live events, meetings with authors and artists, performances, and activities for children and families.
The program opens Friday, August 28 at 9:00 PM with the violin concert “Live Music in Nature” by violinist Violeta Vicci, an immersive musical experience that unites nature and contemporary sounds.
Saturday, August 29 at 4:00 PM features activities for the youngest visitors with the Circobus Juggling Workshops, organized by the Fuma che ‘nduma Association. In the evening, at 9:00 PM, actor Lorenzo Baravalle presents the reading “L’Odissea senza essere interrogato”, an original and engaging reinterpretation of the celebrated Homeric poem.
The final day, Sunday, August 30, opens at 5:30 PM with the presentation of the book “Viaggio nel mondo invisibile. Microrganismi, salute e cambiamento climatico. Il difficile equilibrio della vita sulla Terra” (Aboca) by microbiologist Antonella Fioravanti, in conversation with Mauro Garofalo.
At 9:00 PM the festival concludes with “Best Of(f)”, a show written and performed by Claudio Morici, combining irony, storytelling, and theater in an engaging finale.
Coincidenze 2026 is an invitation to pause, meet, and be surprised by the intersection of stories, people, and languages, transforming a place of passage into a space of culture and sharing.
