Cineforum for children and families “RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET” Tuesday, August 11 in San Michele di Prazzo – IX CINE&MUSIC REVIEW AND… AT THE ECOMUSEO DELL’ALTA VALLE MAIRA

An appointment with the cineforum dedicated to children and families of the IX CINE&MUSIC REVIEW AND….. AT THE ECOMUSEO DELL’ALTA VALLE MAIRA which once again this year, during the summer months, offers cineforums and live concerts in the municipalities of the Ecomuseum.

The review alternates cinematographic art and musical notes in the suggestive setting of the mountain community of the Maira Valley, bringing to life the small Alpine villages of Celle di Macra, Macra, Marmora, Prazzo, and Elva.

Activities take place in symbolic community spaces, including squares, gardens of parish houses, cultural centers, info-ecopoints, and museum halls.

Tuesday, AUGUST 11 at 8:30 PM, the screening of the film for children and families “RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET” will be held in San Michele di Prazzo in Borgata Chiesa.

Six years after their first adventure, Ralph and Vanellope are living peacefully in the arcade. The routine bores Vanellope, who longs for new tracks in her game Sugar Rush. To help her, Ralph modifies a track, but a user breaks the arcade cabinet’s steering wheel; the part is too expensive, prompting the owner to permanently shut down the damaged game.

The two friends then travel into the mysterious world of the Internet via the new Wi-Fi. They find the steering wheel on eBay, but to pay for it, they must find ways to earn money online.

Vanellope falls in love with an underground online game, putting their friendship in crisis; in the end, Ralph accepts that loving someone also means letting them be free to choose.

The event is organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Prazzo and the Carcoso per San Michel Association.

Participation in the event is free of charge.

The initiative is part of the project Participatory experiences of the Upper Maira Valley Ecomuseum territory funded by the CRT Foundation through the Ordinary Grants Call, and the project Educational paths & workshops of the Upper Maira Valley Ecomuseum funded by the CRC Foundation through the General Call.
