Who are we?

The La Chabrochanto farmhouse (the goat sings in Occitan) was born in 2008 as a tasting place for our cheeses but also goat and kid meat and cured meats, in order to close the production chain. In fact, our company, Lo Puy, is the center of our work and of our village: we have been raising dairy goats for more than 20 years and we produce raw milk cheeses without added ferments, which therefore maintain the organoleptic and nutritional properties of the pasture, which we practice daily from spring until the first snow. The village, Podio in Italian, Puy in Occitan, is located at 1000 meters about 1.5 km from the municipality of San Damiano Macra (narrow but paved and panoramic road). In the farmhouse you will meet Marta (cook and mother), her children Caterina (in the dining room and dairy) and Mario (in the dining room and stable) and finally Omar (cook and farmer). In the stable you will almost always find Paolo and around the village you will certainly come across Marta's founder and husband, Jors. And then certainly many cats, dogs and other family members and friends passing through!!
