Via ferrata (Iron way) of Camoglieres

Via ferrata (Iron way) of Camoglieres

Just before entering the small town of Camoglieres, you will find a parking lot and an information board for the Ferrata on the left. Inaugurated in 2006, it is a very physical and high-adrenaline French/Dolomite type ferrata.

The route is located in the area between Camoglieres (980m) and the summit of Crocetta Soprana (1320m).

The equipped trail follows exclusively ledges, natural chimneys, terraces, old trail tracks and offers an impressive Tibetan bridge, which makes the hike even more fun.

You will be able to penetrate into a wild, lonely and extraordinarily beautiful environment. The trail reaches the various rocky crags located above the village of Camoglieres, from which you can admire the pristine flora of this area and, with a bit of luck, encounter deer and chamois. The descent routes and escape routes are easy and scenic.

If you are terrified just thinking about it, a nice trail goes up the slope on the side of the wall, so you can get to the top of the mountain without climbing and enjoy the view of those facing the ferrata.

Please note: a mandatory basic kit is required for the ferrata. The kit can be rented from the Locanda del Silenzio in Camoglieres.

Before starting, it is mandatory to take a look at the access conditions, information and prohibitions detailed on the technical panel placed at the beginning of the route.
