La Strada dei Cannoni (The Road of Cannons)
Strada dei Cannoni, historic military road dating back to 1744.
Today famous for its panoramic route along the watershed between the Maira and Varaita valleys. Built as a logistical project in the first half of the 18th century at the behest of Carlo Emanuele III, it connects Colletta di Rossana (Busca) to Colle della Bicocca (Elva). The route offers magnificent views of the Maritime and Cottian Alps, reaching the summit of Colle di Sampeyre at an altitude of 2,324 meters.
