The Costa Chiggia trail offers a delightful journey, beginning amidst a larch forest and culminating along the gentle ridge from Monte Buch. This path straddles the valleys of Marmora and Celle Macra, presenting a breathtaking summit view of the towering peaks nearby, like Punta Piovosa and Tempesta to the south, bordering the Grana valley. Towards the west, the Brec de Chambeyron makes a striking appearance, and to the north, the distinctive Monviso can be admired.

Ascent: The journey begins by following the traditional summer trail, weaving through the southern slopes between the local Church and the road leading to Colle Intersile. After arriving at Grange Cros, 1710 metres high, the trail veers left into the larch woods, swiftly guiding you to the San Teodoro chapel at 1826 metres. The path then meanders eastward along the ridge. As you progress, the dense forest gives way to an expansive, gently sloping mound, culminating at a cross.
