An easy and well-marked trail suitable for everyone and accessible even during winter (due to the modest altitude and full southern exposure).
The route is called Ciciuvagando and complements the hike with a visit to several small huts acquired and restored by the Reserve. These “ciabot,” which form a sort of open-air museum, were originally structures used by farmers who once intensively cultivated vines on these slopes to produce “Dolcetto di Dronero.” Not much remains of those vineyards today, as the forest has reclaimed its ancient domains.
