“RiattivaMenti”: Occitan Dance Workshop Hits Its Stride with the Third Meeting in Villar San Costanzo

The Occitan Dance workshop of the “RiattivaMenti” project is hitting its stride and preparing for its third appointment. The free workshop hosted at the “Casa delle Idee” is garnering great enthusiasm—an initiative created with the goal of putting new generations (specifically the 15-34 age group) back at the center through sociality, presence, and human contact.

In an era dominated by digital interactions and screens, the challenge of “RiattivaMenti”—a project presented by the Municipality of Celle di Macra as the lead partner along with a wide network of partners from Valle Maira—is working: reactivating connections one step at a time.

The third meeting represents the turning point of this experiential journey led by instructor Paolo Lombardo, assisted by expert teachers.

From the driving rhythms of the courentas to the patterns of the balets, participants are rediscovering the choreographic heritage of the territory, not as a simple folkloric performance, but as a genuine tool for social inclusion.

The path is inclusive and accessible, and the organization reminds everyone that the door is still open: it is never too late to join in and get involved, even for those who have never danced before but simply want to share a moment of celebration and authentic sociality.

The next appointment is Friday, October 02, from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM in Villar San Costanzo, at “La Casa delle Idee,” via IV novembre 1

Participation in the workshop is free – Reservations are appreciated
