Panoramic loop that allows you to reach Elva from the lower valley along the historic Strada dei Cannoni, built in the 1700s but never used in battle.

The route starts in San Damiano Macra, where you go up on asphalt towards Pagliero. You take a forest track near the hamlet of Chesta and in 4 km you reach the Birrone hill, where you reach the military road. The tour passes the coasts of Rastciàs, Lubin, Cugulet, Nebin and reaches the Sampeyre pass. Continuing on the dirt road, before the Bicocca hill you take a steep agricultural track on the left that allows you to reach Elva and its villages. Continuing towards the hamlet of Mattalia, you take a mule track in the larch trees and you arrive at Colle San Giovanni. Through some single trials you reach Colle Bettone and go back down to the valley. Then take the Menossa forest track which climbs up and then goes back down to some hamlets. To return to the starting point it is necessary to follow the provincial road.
