Cheesemaking and Beekeeping Workshops on the occasion of the Sant Marcelin Fair
On Saturday, APRIL 25 in MACRA, at 4:30 PM, a Cheesemaking Workshop and a Beekeeping Workshop will be offered to a diverse audience including children, teenagers, and adults.
The Valle Macra Dairy will lead participants to discover fresh and aged cheeses made from Piedmontese cow and sheep milk. During the workshop, participants can observe the formation and breaking of the curd until the cheese is produced.
During the beekeeping workshop, beekeeper Enzo Bianco will introduce spectators to the world of bees and various honeys with their particularities and characteristics, with a focus on mountain honeys.
The workshops, which will begin at 4:30 PM at the fair area in Borgata Bedale, are part of the program of initiatives for the 178th Sant Marcelin Fair of Macra.
Participation in the workshops is free of charge.
The initiatives are proposed by the Municipalities of Macra and Celle di Macra and organized in collaboration with the Pro Loco Rupicapra of Macra, and are part of the Project B.RI.C.A.: Resilient Villages of Cultural and Environmental Innovation funded under the PNRR – Mission 1 – Component 3 – Culture 4.0 (M1C3).
