Pedancola on Maira river – Morra del Villar bank

Pedancola on Maira river – Morra del Villar bank

The new pedancola on the Maira river is ideal for testing your cool! A 70-metre long walkway made of small metal plates only 75 cm wide for a crossing that will lead you to the discovery of beautiful views

The pedancola connects Morra del Villar to the hamlet of Monastero di Dronero: two banks, two land registers, two municipalities… and everyone likes it, young and old!

For an easy walk, start from Morra del Villar in the direction of Cascina Ferrero and in a few steps you will be on the new “bridge” over the Maira which, with a pinch of adrenaline, will lead you towards the hamlet of Monastero di Dronero. From here, following the cycle path along the Maira in the direction of Dronero, in just 5 km of almost flat walking you can reach the Devil’s Bridge!

The pedancola is also accessible with buggies and bicycles.
