MOT 42K – Meja Occitan Trail

The Meja Occitan Trail is the race that launched the MOT events with its 2021 edition.
The race is 42 km with 2,650 m D+
Now in its fourth edition, this race is changing its look and returns this year with a loop that embraces the Unerzio and Marmora valleys.
You start from the village and immediately take on a major climb through the town of Canosio to reach the Colle di San Giovanni; from there, a scenic path leads into the main valley and on to the start of the Unerzio valley. Pass through Frere, Chialvetta, and Viviere, then head up to the Gardetta Pass—it’s already breathtaking here, but wait until you cross over. As you run across the entire fabulous Gardetta plateau, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into a fairy tale. The dominant Rocca la Meja, which will capture your gaze, is the enchanted castle. From the Colle del Mulo, more than ten kilometers of fantastic descent will bring you back to Marmora.
