Thursday, June 4, 2026, starting from 6:30 PM at the San Salvatore Chapel area in Macra, the event The Art of the Coopers at Sunset: Aperitif at San Salvatore will take place.

As the sun sets behind the peaks of the Maira Valley, the pace slows down and thoughts become lighter. It is the perfect time to reach Macra and enjoy an aperitif suspended in time: the crisp mountain air, local flavors, and the colors of the sunset lighting up the peaks.

From these mountains, men used to depart, taking with them their hands, their tools, and an ancient knowledge: that of transforming wood into small or large barrels.

The aperitif at the San Salvatore Chapel commemorates the adventures of the coopers through entertainment provided by Luca Occelli and Franco Olivero.

On this occasion, it will be possible to visit the San Salvatore Chapel.
