4th Davide Re Memorial

A day dedicated to sport and conviviality with the 12 hours of pétanque, dedicated to the memory of Davide Re. The event continues with the traditional “Bocciofilo” Lunch and concludes with dinner. Children’s entertainment is provided during the tournament, allowing the whole family to enjoy a day of celebration.

The afternoon opens with a meeting with the author Diego Crestani, followed by the inauguration of the open-air library “La cabaneto dóu libre”. In the evening, the appointment is with the traditional “all you can eat” Polentata, accompanied by Occitan dances and entertainment by the group Lou Celhà, for an evening dedicated to the culture and traditions of the Maira Valley.

59th Historical Re-enactment of the Badia di San Lorenzo al Preit

One of the most representative events of the summer at Preit. The day opens with the Solemn Holy Mass, followed by a procession through the streets of the village and the blessing of the children. After the auction of local products and the traditional Bajo Lunch, the afternoon is dedicated to the Search for the New Abbà and the symbolic exchange of the hat, a moment that marks the passing of the historic office of the Abbà. The event will be accompanied by the Società Filarmonica Morettese.

A day entirely dedicated to the little ones. The program includes an introductory climbing course with Global Mountain alpine guides, the Friendship Lunch, games, and activities with a walk alongside alpacas in collaboration with Mairalpaca. In the evening, the traditional torchlight procession through the village streets, followed by mulled wine and herbal teas for everyone.

A day of sport and fun with the Five-a-Side Football Tournament – Mario Bollino Memorial. The evening continues with the Midsummer Night, featuring a barbecue, beer, and live music with the group Pentasonika, until the traditional Midnight Spaghetti Feast.

39th Commemoration of the Alpini at the Rocca La Meja Tablet

Traditional appointment dedicated to the Alpini at the memorial tablet at the foot of Rocca La Meja. The morning includes the Holy Mass organized by the Dronero Alpini Group, while the day concludes with a polentata at the festival center, in a moment of remembrance, friendship, and sharing.
