🐄 Canosio Alpine Nostrale Cheese Festival – Sunday, August 30, 2026

On Sunday, August 30, 2026, in Canosio, Valle Maira, the Alpine Nostrale Cheese Festival returns, a day dedicated to the products and traditions of the Occitan Valleys.

The program kicks off at 9:00 AM with the Occitan Valleys Typical Products Fair, featuring the participation of the marguier of Canosio.

During the day:

• 🦙 10:00 AM – Alpaca walks, organized by MairAlpaca (event with participation fee and reservation required).
• 🦅 11:00 AM – Introduction to the art of falconry, with practical demonstrations and interaction with birds of prey, organized by I Falconieri La Torre Cuneo, in collaboration with Il Mondo nelle Ali.
• 🏔️ 2:30 PM – Inauguration of the “Alta Valle Maira” Mountain Village, with the presentation of the “Certified Mountain Villages” recognition mark to the Municipalities of Acceglio, Canosio, and Marmora.
