MEDITATION WORKSHOP FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
IN MARMORA AT THE FORMER MONASTERY OF BORGATA PARROCCHIA, THE MEDITATION WORKSHOP FOR YOUNG PEOPLE OF THE RIATTIVAMENTI PROJECT WILL BE HELD ON 08.29.2026
The meditation workshop meeting of August 29, 2026, will be held at the former monastery of Borgata Parrocchia in Marmora.
From 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, teacher Marta DEMONTIS will lead the young participants through a journey designed for youth, to learn how to manage study-related anxiety, disconnect from social media, and rediscover concentration through meditation.
The former monastery represents an informal meeting space where young people can explore meditation to understand their emotions and experience them with greater awareness and lightness.
A practical and modern workshop where young people can experience the power of silence to rediscover motivation, clarity, and serenity.
A workshop to explore mindfulness through self-listening, music, and simple breathing techniques for daily use to manage stress: an immersive experience to help participants transform everyday pressures into calm, focus, and self-confidence.
Participation in the workshop is free of charge.
Comfortable clothing is recommended, and participants should bring their own mat.

The Meditation Workshop is part of the RiattivaMenti Project: Traditional trades and youth participation to revitalize the Maira Valley, presented by the municipality of Celle di Macra as the lead partner, with the participation of the Municipalities of Macra, Prazzo, Elva, Marmora, Canosio, Stroppo, and Villar San Costanzo, as well as Uncem Piemonte, Centro Studi Cultura e Territorio APS, Associazione Chaliar ODV, Associazione Luoghi di Passaggio APS, Associazione Escarton APS, and the Maira Valley Youth Council and funded by the Piedmont Region, through the Youth Policy Fund within the regional initiative “Piemonte per i Giovani” pursuant to L.R. 6/2019.
The activity is organized with the support of the Centro Studi Cultura e Territorio of Dronero and the collaboration of the Ecomuseo dell’Alta Valle Maira and the Associazione Luoghi di Passaggio APS.
