JAM AND PRESERVE TASTING WORKSHOP in MACRA SATURDAY, JUNE 6, 2026
Saturday, June 6, the appointment with local product tasting workshops returns at the Macra Infoecopoint, in Piazza Municipio. Starting at 5:45 PM, the Jam, Compote and Preserve Tasting Workshop will be held.
The jams and preserves from LOU LABRIER in Valle Maira capture in a jar the most authentic essence of the Cottian Alps, where small mountain fruits and wild and cultivated herbs are transformed into sweet tales of Occitan tradition.
The jam and preserve tasting workshop celebrates the indissoluble bond between heroic mountain agriculture and the flavors of the past, offering an authentic sensory experience.
The owner of Lou Labrier will guide participants through the tasting to reveal the secrets, passion, and traditional recipes of our mountains, recounting through each sample the history, craftsmanship, and deep connection with the Valle Maira territory.
The event is organized by the Municipalities of Macra and Celle di Macra, in collaboration with the Ecomuseum of Alta Valle Maira and with the support of the Vocational Training Agency of Dronero
The jam and preserve tasting workshop will be held at the INFOECOPOINT in Piazza Municipio in Macra and will begin at 5:45 PM.
