On Saturday, May 9, at 10:00 AM, at the Infoecopoint (Macra Town Hall), the “Community Workshop” initiative will be presented for the creation of the digital archive “Custodians of Memory” on the historical memory of the Municipalities of Celle di Macra and Macra.

The “Community Workshop” project includes 5 meetings for sharing testimonies, documents, objects, photographs, and materials about the places and families of Celle di Macra and Macra.

The material will be used to create the “Custodians of Memory” archive and will be kept at the CULTURAL LAB Documentation Center in Celle di Macra.

Subsequent meetings will be held in Macra at the Infoecopoint on May 13 and 27 and June 10 at 8:30 PM, while the final meeting is scheduled for Saturday, June 20 at 10:00 AM in the Cultural Lab hall in Celle di Macra.

On this occasion, the material collected and processed during the previous meetings and the Community Maps material will be presented to the public.

Testimonies will be collected on traditional crafts, itinerant trades, places, and narratives concerning the two communities.

Participants will be offered a welcome aperitif with Tommi Wine.

Participation in the meetings is free, open to all, and welcome.

“Community Workshop” is an initiative included in the B.R.I.C.A. project, funded by the call “NRRP Mission 1 Digitalization, innovation, competitiveness and culture; Measure 2, Investment 2.1 “Attractiveness of historic villages, Line B”, European Union – Next Generation EU.
