Discovering the Fortifications of the Vallo Alpino

A guided excursion to discover the fortifications of the Vallo Alpino on the Gardetta Plateau, accompanied by the historical reenactment group ASFAO-APS. An opportunity to explore the history of Alpine defensive works and discover the historical and landscape heritage of one of the most evocative places in Valle Maira.

At the end of the walk, there will be a presentation of the volume Altopiani della Gardetta – Alta Valle Maira. Storie di montagne, soldati e fortificazioni , dedicated to the history of the territory and its fortifications.
