Occitan Dance for Young People

Occitan Dance for Young People

New session of the Occitan dance workshop for young people in Villar San Costanzo, part of the RiattivaMenti Project

In an era characterized by increasingly digitalized relationships, the RiattivaMenti project emphasizes the value of human contact, presence, and cooperation. The Occitan dance workshop dedicated to young people continues with this objective: an experiential journey that uses the territory’s dance heritage as a genuine tool for social inclusion and community regeneration.

The choice of traditional dance was not random. Occitan dance is, by its nature, a collective practice based on mutual listening, coordination, and the circle—a symbol without hierarchies, where each participant is essential to the success of the shared movement.

In this session as well, instructor Paolo Lombardo will guide participants through a journey that will foster not only physical expression, but also the building of friendship networks and peer support.

Integrating perfectly with the objectives of the RiattivaMenti project, this program focuses on caring for the mental, physical, and interpersonal health of young people: a tangible response to the challenges of social disconnection, offering a concrete alternative to social fragmentation and celebrating diversity as shared wealth.

The second lesson will be held Friday, September 25 from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM in Villar San Costanzo, at “La Casa delle Idee,” Via IV Novembre 1

Participation in the workshop is free – Reservations are appreciated
