The show on stage at the CineTeatro Iris in Dronero as part of the Soffia nel Vento theater season

On Sunday, March 1 at 4:30 PM at the CineTeatro Iris in Dronero, Brillantina will take the stage—a show where acting blends with puppetry, and where everyday objects become the stars of curious stories told on a magic screen, enchanting little ones through the poetic voice of Brillantina.

The show is part of the Soffia nel Vento program, the theater season by Santibriganti Teatro in the civic theaters of Caraglio, Busca, and Dronero. It features Sunday afternoon events for families and evening performances for all audiences: a way to be together, but also to learn and reflect on what is happening in the world.

Two siblings, Rella and Tello, travel the world collecting stories to tell. With the help of some carts, they bring them to the audience—and they aren’t just the usual stories, but new ones, some yet to be invented. This is where the Gran Carro materializes; inside it, guided and intrigued by Brillantina’s voice, young spectators will be led by the friendly Pennocchio to a magical place where cutlery gets married while having fun on a set table, where witches turn out to be fairies, where a colorful chick is born from a black egg among many white ones as a rainbow appears, and where a little fish falls in love with a big tuna, flying with him toward the sky.
