In Acceglio, Alessandro and Annalisa run the Albergo le Marmotte<\/strong><\/a>: a nest from which to take flight and discover the beauty of Valle Maira. <\/span><\/i> <\/span><\/p>\n

Alessandro first came to Valle Maira as a boy, on vacation with his family: a colleague of his father’s was originally from Acceglio and that summer they decided to visit him.
\n<\/span>It was love at first sight, so much so that his father, together with some partners, took over a small hotel for sale: Le Marmotte<\/em>.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

For Alessandro it became the commitment of all future vacations, especially after he met her, Annalisa. Like him, raised in Lombardy, she returned every year to Acceglio to her grandmother’s family home. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Growing up, they became a solid and close-knit couple, and when the family and partners wanted to retire from the business, Annalisa and Alessandro made an unconventional choice: they left the plains for good to take over the management of Le Marmotte<\/em> and make it their refuge and their work.<\/strong> A special place, where guests, just <\/span>like birds in a nest, leave their comfortable rooms to explore the beauty of Valle Maira. Upon their return, they are welcomed with a meal cooked with love, accompanied by quality wines and conversation. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

A welcoming place to gather in the evening to share the day’s discoveries and collect tips to make the most of the next outing. And when you close the shutters of your room, take a moment to look at the stars that seem brighter here. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Alessandro lovingly takes care of the kitchen<\/strong>. He carefully selects local suppliers, so he can offer regional cuisine that follows the rhythm of the seasons. <\/span>
\n<\/span>Annalisa has brought many small treasures<\/strong> recovered from her grandmother’s house into the spaces of the property, transforming the hotel almost into a museum of mountain life<\/strong>: simple, hardworking, and hospitable.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

In this hotel there are many guests who, like Alessandro, return year after year, to find the same kind and discreet presence each time.
\n<\/span>Always certain to discover something new about this valley that never stops surprising.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
