Camoglieres via ferrata

Camoglieres via ferrata

Just before entering the small town of Camoglieres, you will find a parking area and an information board for the Ferrata on the left. Inaugurated in 2006, it is a very physical and high-adrenaline French/Dolomitic via ferrata.
The route is located in the area between Camoglieres (980 m) and the summit of Crocetta Soprana (1320 m).
The equipped trail exclusively follows ledges, natural chimneys, terraces, old tracks and features an impressive Tibetan bridge, which makes the hike even more fun.
You will enter a wild, lonely yet extraordinarily beautiful environment. The trail reaches the various rocky crags above the village of Camoglieres, from where you can admire the unspoilt flora of this area and, with a bit of luck,  encounter roe deer and chamois. The descent and escape routes are easy and scenic.
If you are terrified at the mere thought, there is a nice path up the side of the wall, so you can get to the top of the mountain without climbing and enjoy the view of those tackling the via ferrata.
Attention: a basic kit is required for the via ferrata.

  • How to visit the site
